Scott was invited to join Aqua Builders in June 2021, after supporting them as a Commercial Territory Manager for Interceramic Tile and Stone for 5 years.
He is a Certified Speaker for the Natural Stone Institute and brings a wealth of hard-surface materials knowledge to our projects, guiding our clients’ product selections, sourcing, and applications.
In the highly specialized world of Aqua Builders water projects, with demanding and unpredictable current supply conditions, materials must be specified and procured early in the project to meet expectations. Working closely with key vendors and multiple sources is critical.
Scott has previously served as both Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council Central Texas Regional Council and Chair of the U.S. Green Building Council Texas Chapter, from 2016 to 2021. In these roles, he has contributed to the construction industry’s transition to more sustainable products and processes, and worked on many of Austin’s premier developments, such as the LEED Platinum City of Austin Central Library.
Scott enjoys cycling, playing guitar and attending live music in his spare time.
